The Diamond FX Splitcake It's Fall (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four warm autumn shades in one compact: Essential Bordeaux Red, Essential Red, Essential Golden Yellow and Essential Yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. With this 30 gram cake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the cake. Move your brush slowly from bordeaux to yellow to pick up all the colours at once. Work with a water tub and refresh the water between colours to keep shades clean and bright.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-based face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff. For detail work and leaf edges, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-based face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A tub of clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin first. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like bordeaux and deep red.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best to avoid that. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
