What is coloured hairspray?

Coloured hairspray is a temporary colour for your hair in a spray can. You spray the colour onto dry hair and after washing it's usually gone again. Ideal when you want to match your hair to your outfit, theme or makeup look, without changing your real hair colour straight away. The Goodmark hairspray comes in plain colours, but also with glitter.

How do you use coloured hairspray?

Shake the can well before use and spray the colour onto dry hair, from about 20 to 30 centimetres away. Work in a few thin layers rather than one thick layer. That way you build the colour up gradually and stop the hair getting too wet too quickly. Let the spray dry in between and protect your clothing with an old towel, because while the colour is still wet it can rub off.

Does the colour wash out?

In most cases you wash the colour out again with ordinary shampoo. Do you have light, porous or bleached hair? Then test a small strand first. Bright colours such as red, pink and purple in particular can linger a little on light hair.

The Goodmark hairspray comes in colours such as black, white, red, blue, green, pink, purple, orange, silver and yellow. There are also glitter variants in gold, silver and multicolour.
