The Diamond FX Splitcake Beach (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four earth tones and skin tones in one compact: Essential White, Essential Light Brown, Essential Brown and Essential Black. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. With this 30g you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the colours lightly with a spray bottle, or pick up the colour with a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff behind. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your work station stops colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining from darker shades like Brown and Black.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse well. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is a matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour correction. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
