The Diamond FX Splitcake Anna's Sparkle (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint designed for the One Stroke technique. The four metallic shades - Metallic Mint Green, Metallic Green, Metallic Raspberry and Metallic Yellow - are inspired by Princess Anna from Frozen. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g cake you can paint 10 to 15 complete faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Move a damp flat brush or squeezed-out sponge in one smooth stroke from left to right across all the colours at once to pick up the full gradient. Clean water keeps colours bright and pure - use a water pot and refresh it regularly between colours. You can also mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle to activate it.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workstation prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense metallic shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
