Sculpt Gel for Special Effects Makeup
Sculpt Gel is an on-skin silicone paste that you can apply directly to the skin to create realistic three-dimensional effects. Ideal for creating wounds, deformations, burns, and more. Due to its flexible texture, the gel can be easily modeled like soft clay or wax. Perfect for use in special effects and SFX makeup.
The set consists of three components: A and B form the silicone together, while part C makes the gel softer and more flexible. Sculpt Gel is available in a transparent variant and a light skin tone, and after application to the skin, it can be easily colored with greasepaint or alcohol-activated makeup. It is the perfect product for professionals in the makeup, grime, and SFX industries.
Once cured, Sculpt Gel looks and moves like real skin, providing an extremely realistic effect. The silicone retains its shape and flexibility, ensuring it will not change shape after curing.

What is Sculpt Gel?
Sculpt Gel is a versatile silicone paste specifically designed for creating realistic three-dimensional effects directly on the skin. This product is a favorite among professional makeup artists due to its ability to be modeled like soft clay or wax, offering endless possibilities for special effects makeup. Think of wounds, burns, deformations, and more. Once applied and cured, Sculpt Gel retains its shape and moves with the skin, making it look and feel extremely realistic.
How to Use Sculpt Gel?
Using Sculpt Gel is simple, but it does require some attention to detail:
- Mixing: The set consists of three components: A and B form the silicone together. Mix them in a 1:1 ratio. The third component, part C, is a softener and can be added as desired to make the gel softer and more flexible. Never add more than the other parts, and keep in mind that this slows down the curing process of the gel.
- Application: Apply the mixed gel to the skin with a spatula and model it into the desired shape. For a skin-like texture, you can use a stippling sponge before the gel fully cures.
- Coloring: Sculpt Gel can be easily colored with grease or alcohol-activated makeup to achieve the desired effect.
- Removal: After use, the gel can be easily removed from the skin by gently loosening it with your fingers and carefully peeling it off.
Important Tips for Working with Sculpt Gel
- Always mix the gel in small quantities to avoid waste.
- Mark the lids of jars A, B, and C with a marker to avoid confusion.
- Use a separate spatula for each jar to prevent the components from hardening in the jars.
- Make sure the gel is fully cured before further working or coloring it.
- Use a Stainless Steel Spatula to easily work with Sculpt Gel and create effects.
- Use 99.9% alcohol on your spatula, fingers, or other tools to work with Sculpt Gel. The alcohol ensures that Sculpt Gel doesn't stick everywhere you don't want it to.
- When Sculpt Gel is almost fully cured, you should powder it with a Setting Powder. This not only removes the shine from the Sculpt Gel but also makes it easier to color.
