The Diamond FX Splitcake Halloween 30gr is a professional face paint on wax base with five colours in one compact: Essential Yellow, Essential Orange, Essential Red, Essential Bordeaux Red and Essential Black. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram cake you can face paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep your brush in one wide stroke across the splitcake to pick up all five colours at once - that's the one-stroke effect. Work with a water container and refresh the water regularly to keep colours clean and vivid.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For flames and detail work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water beside your workstation prevents colours from mixing or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like red and black.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores which lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all colour is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
