Diamond FX Splitcake Galactic Wars (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Galactic Wars (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with three metallic shades: Metallic Black, Metallic Gold and Metallic Bronze. The wax base delivers high pigmentation and strong coverage, letting you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all Diamond FX Metallic colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours pure and bright - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Painting Brushes are made for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For fine detail work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Painting Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or going dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and pushes pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner, faster removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - developed specifically for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes the face paint off in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal ingredients. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
With a 30 gram pot you can paint approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vibrant under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strong points. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour correction. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
