How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. For the One Stroke technique, move your brush back and forth over all four colours at once to pick them up in a single stroke. Keep your water clean by using a water tub and refreshing it regularly.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't leave fibres behind. For detail work and sharp lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering larger areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water tub with fresh water next to your workspace prevents the blue shades from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from dark blue pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, allowing pigment to penetrate deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
