The Diamond FX Splitcake Glam (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with three metallic shades in one cake: Metallic White, Metallic Pink and Metallic Purple. The wax base and high pigmentation let you pick up all three colours in a single brush stroke, without them bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram cake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly using a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the splitcake. Move the brush back and forth across the three shades to pick up the colour gradient. Clean water gives you clear, vivid colours - use a water pot and refresh it regularly.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that leave no fluff behind. For detail work and clean lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace stops the metallic shades from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
