These caps have edges that are easy to blend seamlessly into the skin. The Mehron Bald Cap is a thin, transparent, elastic plastic bald cap for single use. To attach the bald cap to the skin, adhesive like Spirit Gum or Pros-Aide is used.
The bald cap can be best colored with Greasepaint or Alcohol Makeup. When working with cream makeup, it is important to set the makeup with Setting Powder to prevent it from smudging, and the powder will also mattify the greasepaint.
When using Alcohol Makeup, it is recommended to apply the colors in a splatter technique and in multiple layers for the best results.

- Step 3: Finishing: Blend the edges of the bald cap with adhesive for a seamless transition to the skin.
How to Make a Bald Cap with Liquid Latex?
Creating a bald cap with liquid latex is a creative way to achieve a unique look. Follow these steps for a perfect result:
- Step 1: Preparation: To make your own bald cap, you'll need a red head mold from Kryolan. Apply a very thin layer of vaseline to the mold so that the bald cap comes off easily once you're done.
- Step 2: Application: Apply the latex in thin layers. Allow each layer to dry until it becomes fully transparent. 4 to 8 layers are sufficient for a strong bald cap. The number of layers depends on the thickness of each layer.
- Step 3: Finishing: Powder the outside of the bald cap with transparent powder and use powder to remove the bald cap from the red mold. Be careful: latex sticks to itself, so use enough powder to prevent this.
Tip: Did you know you can also create a bald cap using Baldiez or Super Baldiez? The advantage of this is that you can dissolve the edges with alcohol or acetone, depending on the Baldiez you choose.
