The Diamond FX Splitcake Summer (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six colours in one block: Metallic Purple, Sea Green, Light Green, Yellow, Orange and Bordeaux Red. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram block you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the block lightly with a spray bottle, or load a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly across all six colours at once. That single stroke is the One Stroke technique in action. Use a water pot and refresh the water regularly to keep colours clean and vivid.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For flowers, leaves and detail work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas and colour blends, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workstation prevents colours from mixing or going muddy.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like the dark green and bordeaux red in this block.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until everything is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own once you start using the product. Quality and shelf life are unaffected.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strongest features. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
