Diamond FX Splitcake Punk (30gr) - one stroke face paint, wax-based

The Diamond FX Splitcake Punk (30gr) is a one stroke face paint on wax-base with four colours in one pan: Essential Purple, Essential Orange, Neon Green and Metallic Gold. Because of the wax base, you can work in layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram pan you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX Splitcakes are free from gluten, animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential and Metallic colours in this pan are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients. The Neon Green is independently skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Move a slightly damp brush in a smooth arc across the splitcake to pick up all four colours at once - that gives you the classic one stroke colour blend in a single stroke. Use a spray bottle to keep the colours lightly moist and a separate water bowl to keep your water clean between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This protective layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like Neon Green.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

The Essential Purple, Essential Orange and Metallic Gold in this pan are free from gluten, fragrance, parabens, lanolin and animal-derived ingredients. What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour correction. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
