What is Alcohol Activated Makeup?
Alcohol-activated makeup is a type of body paint or makeup in which the pigment (the colors) is suspended in a special polymer base that only dissolves in alcohol. This means that the makeup remains immovable in the palette until it comes into contact with 99% alcohol (isopropyl alcohol). When the makeup is "activated," it is ready for use. We recommend using 99% alcohol for the best results.
When to Use Alcohol Activated Makeup?
This type of makeup can only be activated with the help of alcohol, making it highly resilient to water and sweat.
