Diamond FX Splitcake Papaya Party (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Papaya Party (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four warm tropical colours in one pot: Metallic Purple, Essential Fuchsia Pink, Essential Golden Yellow and Essential White. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding or blending into each other straight away. This 30 gram pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential and Metallic colours in this splitcake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the pot using a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the paint. Move the brush back and forth across the colours to pick up the desired gradient. Clean water keeps your colours bright and pure - use a water bowl and refresh between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines, grab the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water beside your workstation prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
- Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, which lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes face paint away in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting many faces in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The Essential and Metallic colours in this splitcake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the remaining Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
