Diamond FX Splitcake Autumn (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Autumn (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four warm autumn shades in one cake: white, yellow, orange and red. The wax formula delivers high pigmentation and strong coverage, so a single brush stroke gives you smooth colour transitions without the shades bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can face paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The splitcake is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Explore all our other Diamond FX Essentials colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly using a spray bottle, or load a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the cake. Move the brush or sponge from one end to the other to pick up all four colours in one go. Clean water keeps your colours bright - work with a water pot and refresh it regularly.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that won't leave fluff behind. For detail work and leaf veins, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace stops the warm autumn shades from turning dull or muddy.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense red and orange shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a quicker, fuss-free removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - developed specifically for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes off face paint in one go, perfect at events and children's parties where you're painting lots of faces

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always patch-test on sensitive skin 24 hours in advance.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
With a 30 gram cake you can paint approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - the Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
