How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh it between colours.

With a splitcake, move your brush or sponge across all colours in one smooth stroke. That way you pick up the full gradient in a single pass.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like deep green or bright orange.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Massage the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
