Diamond FX Splitcake Elsa's Magic (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Elsa's Magic (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint featuring four metallic shades inspired by the Frozen ice princess look. The wax base keeps the colours crisp and prevents them blending into each other during one-stroke brush movements. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all other Diamond FX Metallic colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the paint. Clean water gives you clear, true colours - use a water container and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for water-activated paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For ice crystal details and line work use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For covering large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A fresh water container beside your workspace prevents the metallic silver and blue shades from turning dull.
- Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from the metallic blue shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to settle deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes away the paint in one go, ideal at children's parties where you are painting many faces in a row
What to use Diamond FX Metallic Elsa's Magic for
- Ice princess and Frozen looks - the combination of metallic blue, baby blue, silver and white creates an Elsa-inspired face without any extra mixing
- Children's parties and birthdays - a quick princess or winter look with a single brush stroke
- One-stroke snowflake and winter designs - the four shades in one block naturally produce a colour gradient through the snowflake

- Theatre and events - winter characters and ice queen make-up for performances and shows

Frequently asked questions
Why does the paint sometimes have small cracks in it?
Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These typically disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Metallic is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The Metallic range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
With a 30-gram pot you can paint roughly 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
