What are Mouldlife silicone pigments?
Mouldlife silicone pigments are colour pigments you use to tint platinum silicone, for example Polytek PlatSil. Because they're very highly concentrated, you only need a little and one pot lasts a long time. You'll find them in skin tones and basic colours, so you mix the right shade yourself.
How do you colour silicone with pigment?
Mix the pigment into Part B of your silicone first and only then add Part A. Use a small dose, around half a percent, and build the colour up carefully. Add a little at a time, because the high concentration colours the silicone deeply very quickly. Keep in mind that pigments can affect the curing time of the silicone.
Which colours are there?
The Mouldlife pigments come in skin tones such as light flesh and dark flesh, and in basic colours like white, black, red, blue, green, yellow and brown. By combining colours you mix almost any skin tone or the effect you're after.
What do you use silicone pigments for?
