The Diamond FX Splitcake Dutch Pride (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint combining Essential Red, Essential White and Essential Blue in one cake - the colours of the Dutch flag. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other. With this 30g cake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours crisp - work with a water pot and refresh between colours.

With a splitcake, a single brush stroke across all three sections picks up red, white and blue at once. That is what makes the One Stroke technique so fast: a complete flag design in one movement.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For fine details and line work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water beside your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense blue shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and lets pigment sink deeper into skin - avoid it. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
