The Diamond FX Splitcake Batgirl (28gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with high pigmentation and strong coverage. The cake combines Essential Black, Essential Purple, Essential Lavender and Essential White in a single block, so you pick up multiple colours in one brushstroke. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 28 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the cake. Move your brush from one end of the cake to the other to pick up all four colours at once. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh it regularly.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For fine details and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours muddying or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like black and purple.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently massage in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
