The Diamond FX Splitcake Hot Beach (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four summer colours in one cake: Essential Golden Yellow, Essential Yellow, Neon Magenta and Essential Blue. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. One 30gr cake covers 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the cake. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water tub and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic hairs that leave no lint. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A tub of clean water at your workstation prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from the intense magenta and blue tones in this splitcake.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the remaining Neon colours are opaque and vivid under regular light as well.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
