Diamond FX Splitcake Grass (30gr) - face paint wax-based
The Diamond FX Splitcake Grass (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with high pigmentation and strong coverage. This splitcake combines five shades of green - from white and yellow through light green, green, and dark green - in a single stroke. One pass of the brush picks up the whole colour gradient, no manual blending required. With 30g you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance, and lanolin. The Essential collection is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our other Diamond FX Essential colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Move the brush from top to bottom across the splitcake so all colours load onto the bristles. Clean water keeps your colours sharp - use a water bowl and rinse between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for face paint with soft synthetic hairs that leave no fluff. For detail work - fine leaves and grass blades - pick up the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large green backgrounds use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water beside your workspace prevents greens mixing with other colours and turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense greens like dark green.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until the paint is gone.

- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint face after face

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben-, and lanolin-free and contain no animal-derived ingredients. The Essential collection is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours before use on sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
With a 30g pot you can paint around 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic, and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet, and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
