Diamond FX Splitcake Blueberry Hill (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Blueberry Hill 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with five blue shades in one splitcake, designed for the One Stroke technique. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding or blending into each other. With this 30 gram splitcake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcake is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The splitcake range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep the brush back and forth across the splitcake to pick up all five shades at once. Clean water keeps your colours bright and true - use a water container and change the water between designs.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with flexible synthetic hairs that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A clean water container next to your work space stops the blue shades from muddying or going dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense shades like the deep blue and sea green in this splitcake.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a quicker, cleaner removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - developed specifically for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts the face paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting one child after another
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Blueberry Hill for

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The splitcake range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram splitcake covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
