The Diamond FX Splitcake Lala Land (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four vibrant fantasy colours in a single cake: purple, orange, pink and white. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the splitcake using a spray bottle, or pick up colour with a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Drag your brush back and forth across the splitcake to pick up all four colours at once - this creates smooth colour transitions in a single stroke. Use a water pot and refresh the water between colours for crisp, clean results.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are specially made for face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, grab the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
