Diamond FX Splitcake Island Fever (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Island Fever (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with five colours in one cake: Metallic White, Essential Yellow, Neon Orange, Essential Pink and Metallic Purple. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With one stroke across the cake you load multiple colours onto your brush at once - that's the beauty of the One Stroke technique. This 30 gram cake covers 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Metallic and Essential colours in this cake are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Orange is skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment and glows under UV/blacklight. Browse all our other Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or press a damp brush or well-squeezed sponge directly onto the cake. For the One Stroke technique, drag your brush across all the colours in one move to load the full colour gradient at once. Use a water container and refresh the water between colours to keep your shades clean and bright.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and sharp lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For larger areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or going dull.
- Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin before painting. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from the vibrant neon and metallic shades in this cake.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and causes pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a quicker, cleaner removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that lifts the paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you're working through a queue

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear when you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Essential and Metallic colours in this cake are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Orange is skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Always patch-test on sensitive skin 24 hours in advance.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram cake covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that's actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
