The Diamond FX Splitcake Cherry Pie (30gr) is a professional face paint on wax-basis with four colours in one pot: Essential Purple, Essential Lavender, Metallic Gold and Essential White. The wax-basis lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Move a slightly damp brush back and forth across the splitcake to pick up all the colours at once. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the pot. Clean water keeps colours bright and clear - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your kit prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like purple.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
