The Diamond FX Splitcake Gold Digger (30gr) is a professional one stroke face paint on a wax base with four colours in a single cake: Essential Orange, Essential Brown, Metallic Baby Blue and Metallic Gold. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours immediately bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the colours lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the cake. Work with a water bowl nearby and refresh the water regularly between colours to keep your transitions clean.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff behind. For sharp lines and details, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with more intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vibrant under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strongest qualities. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers cleanly without the underlying colour showing through.
