The Diamond FX Splitcake Sparkling Pastels 28gr is a professional wax-based face paint with four metallic pastel colours in one cake: Metallic White, Metallic Aqua, Metallic Pink and Metallic Purple. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. One stroke of the brush picks up all four shades at once, giving you smooth colour blends with a glossy shimmer finish. With 28 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, perfume and lanolin. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep your brush across all four colours in one stroke for an instant colour gradient. Work with a water pot and refresh the water regularly to keep your colours clean and bright.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents the pastel colours from going muddy or dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from deeper shades like Metallic Aqua or Metallic Purple.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all colour is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX on top of other colours?

Yes, that is one of its key strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
