Diamond FX Splitcake Blurred Lines (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Blurred Lines (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six pastel and rainbow colours in a single cake. The wax base lets you build up layers easily without the colours bleeding into each other. With this 30 gram cake you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Splitcake range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Move your brush back and forth across the cake to pick up all six colours at once. Clean water gives you clear, bright colours - use a water bowl and refresh it between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic hairs that don't leave fluff behind. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water bowl with fresh water next to your workspace prevents the pastel shades from going cloudy or muddy.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades like Sea Green and Pastel Blue.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes off face paint in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Blurred Lines for

- Fancy dress and themed events - smooth colour transitions for cheerful, vibrant designs

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. Quality and shelf life are not affected.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free, and contains no animal ingredients. The Splitcake range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand if the skin is sensitive.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram cake gives you approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
