The Diamond FX Splitcake Color Splash (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six vibrant neon colours in one cake. The colours glow under UV/blacklight and are opaque and vivid under regular light. With this 30 gram cake you can face paint 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the cake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. For smooth colour transitions with a split cake, glide your brush across all colours in one flowing stroke. Work with a water pot and refresh the water regularly to keep colours bright and clean.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents neon colours from muddying or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense neon colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense neon shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Gently massage the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear on their own during use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
