The Diamond FX Splitcake Monsoon (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four colours in one cake: Essential Dark Blue, Essential Light Blue, Essential Lavender and Essential White. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding or blending into each other straight away. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.

Diamond FX Essential is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the cake lightly using a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep the brush or sponge back and forth across all four colours to pick up the classic one-stroke gradient. Use a water tub with clean water and refresh it regularly to keep colours clear and true.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water tub with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or looking dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense dark blue and lavender shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint using mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Is Diamond FX safe for children?

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in normal light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers cleanly without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
