Diamond FX Splitcake Bear Sense (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Bear Sense (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with three skin tones in one block: Olive Skin, Brown Skin and Ebony Skin. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Essential is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, perfume and lanolin. The Essential range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our other Diamond FX Essential colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Move the brush slowly from one tone to the next for a smooth transition. Use a water pot and refresh the water regularly to keep your colours clean.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin first. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with deeper tones like Ebony Skin.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and drives pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all paint is gone.
For a quicker, cleaner removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes the paint off in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint face after face

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear when you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Essential is gluten-free, free from perfume, parabens, lanolin and animal ingredients. The Essential range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram pot covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
