The Diamond FX Splitcake Caribbean Punch (30gr) is a professional one stroke face paint on a wax base with four tropical colours in one cake: purple, pink, green and yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding or blending into each other. This 30gr cake covers 10 to 15 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the cake. Sweep your brush across all four colours to pick up the one stroke gradient. Use a water pot and refresh your water between strokes for clean, vibrant colour.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from muddying or going dull.
• Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense pigments.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to penetrate deeper - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on first use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - the Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
