Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Nights 30gr - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Neon Nights 30gr is a professional wax-based face paint with six vivid neon colours in a single block: Neon Purple, Neon Blue, Neon Green, Neon Yellow, Neon Orange and Neon Magenta. All six colours glow under UV/blacklight. The wax base lets you build in layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 30 grams you can face paint 10 to 15 complete faces.
Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Neon range is independently skin-safety tested. Neon colours are special-effects pigments - use them for UV/blacklight effects and festivals, not for everyday cosmetic use. Browse all Diamond FX Neon colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a little clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the block with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the paint. For one stroke designs, drag the brush slowly over all the colours at once. Clean water keeps neon colours vivid and true - use a water pot and refresh it regularly.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that won't leave fibres on the skin. For fine details and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your workspace stops neon colours mixing or going dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense neon pigments.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and pushes pigment deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse well. Repeat until all the colour is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes face paint away in one go, ideal at festivals and events where you paint many people in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Neon is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. Neon is special-effects pigmentation and independently skin-safety tested, but not classified as FDA-cosmetic - use it for UV/blacklight effects, not for everyday cosmetic use. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30-gram block paints approximately 10 to 15 complete faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bold.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
