Diamond FX Splitcake Cotton Candy (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Cotton Candy (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four colours in one disc: Metallic Purple, Lavender, Pink and White. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other straight away. This 30g disc covers 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential and Metallic colours in this splitcake are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the disc lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep the brush broadly across the disc to pick up all four colours at once - this creates a smooth colour blend naturally. Use a water container and refresh the water regularly to keep colours clean and vivid.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water prevents pastel colours from turning muddy or dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and helps prevent staining from the Metallic Purple shade.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and causes pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes away face paint in one go, ideal at children's parties and events

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal-derived ingredients. The range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 30g?
A 30g disc covers approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers cleanly without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
