The Diamond FX Splitcake Cloud (30gr) is a professional wax-based face paint in one-stroke format, with four colours in one compact: Metallic White, Essential Golden Yellow, Essential Pink and Essential Sea Green. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Sweep your brush broadly across the cake to pick up all four colours in one stroke. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh it regularly.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for face paint with soft synthetic hairs that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and edges, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water prevents colours from muddying or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with colours like Sea Green.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until everything is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own once you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
