Diamond FX Splitcake Cucumber Rage (30gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Cucumber Rage (30gr) is a professional one stroke face paint on wax base with five colours in one block: Essential Black, Metallic Gold, Essential Dark Green, Essential Light Green and Essential Yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours blending into each other straight away. With this 30 gram block you can paint 10 to 15 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal-derived ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The splitcake is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Spray a fine mist onto the splitcake with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the colours. Move the brush back and forth across the block to pick up all five colours at once. Clean water keeps colours vibrant and true - use a water container and refresh the water between designs.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic hairs that don't shed. For detail work and sharp lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense dark green shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - best avoided. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes the face paint off in one wipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting lots of faces in a row
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Cucumber Rage for

- Crocodiles and lizards - great for children's parties with an animal or jungle theme

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear as soon as you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The splitcakes are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. If skin is sensitive, always do a patch test 24 hours in advance.
How many faces can you paint with 30 grams?
A 30 gram block lets you paint approximately 10 to 15 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that's actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on monitor settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
