How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the colours. Clean water keeps your colours bright and pure - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no lint. For detail work and line work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, letting pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Rub the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
