Diamond FX Splitcake Happy Birthday 50gr - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Happy Birthday (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four festive colours in one cake: Neon Green, Essential Light Blue, Neon Magenta and Neon Yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With the one stroke technique you pick up multiple colours in a single brush stroke - perfect for fast, festive designs at birthday parties. With 50 grams you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The colours Neon Green, Neon Magenta and Neon Yellow are special-effects pigments that glow under UV/blacklight and have been independently skin-safety tested. Essential Light Blue is formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients. Browse all Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush into the cake. Clean water keeps your colours bright and clear - use a water pot and refresh it between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning muddy.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense neon shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cold to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a moist wipe that takes off face paint in one swipe, ideal at parties and events where you are painting many faces in a row

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, creating surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the cake. There is no effect on quality or longevity.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal ingredients. The Happy Birthday contains neon colours that have been independently skin-safety tested as special-effects pigments. Essential Light Blue is EU and FDA cosmetically compliant. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
A 50 gram cake covers approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos were taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
