The Diamond FX Splitcake Tacolicious 50gr is a professional wax-based face paint with four colours in one cake: Essential Black, Metallic Gold, Essential Orange and Essential Yellow. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the face paint with a little clean water. Spray a fine mist onto the cake with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the splitcake. Clean water keeps colours vibrant and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Rub the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the colour is gone.

Large temperature differences during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - the Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only become vivid under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and bold.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
