Diamond FX Splitcake Oriental Times (50gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Oriental Times (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four colours in one splitcake: Neon Pink, Metallic Blue, Metallic Green and Metallic Black. The wax base lets you build layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Metallic colours in this splitcake are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Pink is skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Browse all our Diamond FX Splitcakes.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps your colours clear and bright - use a water container and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that don't leave fluff. For detail work and line work, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents metallic and neon colours from turning dull or mixing unintentionally.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense metallic and neon shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores, which allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - you want to avoid that. Gently work the soap in and rinse well. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp wipe that takes off the face paint in one swipe, ideal at events and children's parties where you paint many faces one after the other

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear on their own when you start using the product. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
The Metallic Blue, Metallic Green and Metallic Black in this splitcake are formulated with EU and FDA compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. The Neon Pink is skin-safety tested as a special-effects pigment. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
With a 50 gram splitcake you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - the Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strong points. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
