The Diamond FX Splitcake Raving Rio (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with five neon shades in one compact: Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow and Neon Green. The colours glow under UV/blacklight and are vivid and opaque under regular light. With 50 grams you have enough face paint for multiple events or carnival days.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. With a splitcake you load your tool so the colours sit side by side, creating a smooth neon rainbow gradient in one stroke. Use a water container and refresh the water between colours to keep shades clean and vivid.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for water-activated face paint with soft synthetic fibres that leave no fuzz. For detail work and fine lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water container with fresh water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or looking dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin coat of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense neon shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Is Diamond FX Neon safe for children?
