The Diamond FX Splitcake Bright Nights (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six vivid base colours in one compact. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other straight away. With this 50 gram splitcake you can paint 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the face paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - work with a water pot and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Painting Brushes are made specifically for face paint, with smooth synthetic bristles that don't shed. For detail work and lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Painting Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Painting Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water pot with clean water next to your station stops colours from mixing or going dull.
- Protective layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier layer makes removal easier and prevents staining (pigment residue) with vivid shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens pores, causing pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Work the soap in gently and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that wipes face paint away in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you're painting many faces in a row
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Bright Nights for

- Carnival and fancy dress events - fast, colourful looks for large groups

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. These usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Essential is gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contains no animal ingredients. The Essential range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance if skin is sensitive.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
A 50 gram splitcake covers approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
