The Diamond FX Splitcake Mega Melon (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint that combines six colours in one compact case: deep bordeaux red, pink, white, mint green, light green and dark green. The wax base lets you pick up multiple colours in a single stroke without them blending together before they hit the skin. With 50 grams you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the splitcake lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the case. Clean water keeps colours crisp and true - use a water pot and refresh the water regularly.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are designed for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fluff. For fine lines and detail work, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large colour areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water beside your workspace stops the green and red shades from mixing into a muddy tone.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier coat makes removal easier and prevents staining from the darker green shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all paint is gone.

Large temperature swings during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
