Diamond FX Splitcake Boy Nextdoor (50gr) - wax-based face paint
The Diamond FX Splitcake Boy Nextdoor (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint combining four metallic shades in one compact: Metallic Purple, Metallic Pink and Metallic Yellow. The wax base lets you create vibrant one-stroke designs in a single brushstroke without the colours bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint 15 to 22 full faces.
Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free and free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Browse all our Diamond FX Metallic colours.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - work with a water bowl and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with flexible synthetic hairs that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, work with a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A water bowl with clean water next to your workspace stops colours from mixing or turning dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This protective layer makes removal easier and prevents staining from intense metallic shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the face paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid it. Gently work the soap in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all face paint is gone.
For a cleaner and quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially formulated to remove Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a moist wipe that takes the paint off in one go, ideal at events and children's parties where you are working through a queue
What to use Diamond FX Splitcake Boy Nextdoor for

- Fancy dress and themed events - glossy looks that stand out in any setting
- Cosplay and fantasy make-up - shimmer highlights or base for fairies and elf looks

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal-derived ingredients. The range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours in advance for sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
With a 50-gram compact you can paint around 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come to life under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is one of its strong points. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on monitor settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
