The Diamond FX Splitcake Dancing Queen 50gr is a professional wax-based face paint in four metallic shades: Metallic White, Metallic Pink, Metallic Green and Metallic Purple. The wax base lets you build up layers without the colours bleeding into each other. With 50 grams you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint
Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the cake with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water tub and refresh the water between colours.
Tips for a professional result
- Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
- Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
- Keep your water clean. A tub of clean water next to your workspace stops colours from muddying or going dull.
- Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. It makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense metallic shades.
How to remove Diamond FX face paint
Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.
For a cleaner, quicker removal without scrubbing:
- Diamond FX Skin Soap - specially developed for removing Diamond FX face paint
- Remover Towel - a damp cloth that takes off the paint in one wipe, perfect at events and birthday parties when you're painting lots of children one after another

Frequently asked questions
Why are there sometimes small cracks in the face paint?
Large temperature fluctuations during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear once you start using the paint. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.
Is Diamond FX safe for children?
Yes, Diamond FX Splitcakes are gluten-free, fragrance-, paraben- and lanolin-free and contain no animal ingredients. The range is formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. Always do a patch test 24 hours beforehand if your child has sensitive skin.
How many faces can you paint with 50 grams?
With a 50 gram splitcake you can paint approximately 15 to 22 full faces, depending on layer thickness and technique.
What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?
Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent in regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vivid.
Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
Yes, that is actually one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Compliant with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. Product photos are taken under professional lighting. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen settings.
