How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the cake with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water tub and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made for water-activated face paint with smooth synthetic bristles that leave no fluff behind. For detail work and fine lines, reach for the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A tub of clean water next to your workspace stops colours from muddying or going dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. It makes removal easier and prevents staining with intense metallic shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and lets pigment sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently work in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the face paint is gone.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?
