The Diamond FX Splitcake Flower Heather (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with four colour zones in one compact: Essential Yellow, Neon Magenta, Essential Lavender and Essential Purple. The wax base lets you build up layers without colours bleeding into each other straight away. With 50 grams you can paint around 15 to 22 full faces.

Diamond FX is gluten-free, free from animal ingredients, parabens, fragrance and lanolin. The Essential colours in this compact are formulated with EU- and FDA-compliant cosmetic ingredients and suitable for the sensitive skin of children and adults. How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a small amount of clean water. Spritz a fine mist onto the compact with a spray bottle, or use a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush. Clean water keeps colours bright and true - use a water pot and refresh the water between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles. For petal details and fine lines, grab the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For large areas and backgrounds, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for water-activated face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water pot with fresh water next to your workspace stops the yellow, lavender and purple mixing before you want them to.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This makes removal easier and prevents staining from the neon magenta zone.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove the paint with a mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Gently rub in the soap and rinse thoroughly. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

What is the difference between Essential, Metallic and Neon?

Essential is matte base face paint. Metallic has a glossy shimmer finish. Neon colours glow under UV/blacklight - Neon Blue, Violet and White are semi-transparent under regular light and only come alive under UV/blacklight; the other Neon colours are opaque and vibrant.

Can you apply Diamond FX over other colours?

Yes, that is one of its strengths. The wax base and high pigmentation mean the top colour covers without the underlying colour showing through. Product photos are taken under professional daylight lamps without colour editing. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
