The Diamond FX Splitcake Blurred Lines (50gr) is a professional wax-based face paint with six pastel rainbow colours in one cake: Fuchsia Pink, Golden Yellow, Yellow, Sea Green, Pastel Blue and Lavender. The wax base keeps the colours side by side without immediately blending into each other - so one stroke of your brush or sponge picks up multiple colours at once. With 50 grams you can paint around 15 to 22 full faces.

How to use Diamond FX face paint

Activate the paint with a little clean water. Mist the surface lightly with a spray bottle, or dip a well-squeezed sponge or damp brush directly into the cake. Clean water keeps colours vibrant - use a water bowl and refresh it between colours.

Tips for a professional result

• Use the right brushes. The FBFX Face Paint Brushes are made specifically for face paint with soft synthetic bristles that leave no fibres behind. For detail work and lines, use the FBFX Round Face Paint Brushes.
• Use the right sponge. For covering large areas, use a Yellow Face Paint Sponge. Latex foam sponges are not suitable for face paint.
• Keep your water clean. A water bowl with clean water next to your workspace prevents colours from mixing or turning dull.
• Barrier layer for sensitive skin or intense colours. Apply a thin layer of Marley Skin beforehand. This barrier makes removal easier and prevents staining with more intense shades.

How to remove Diamond FX face paint

Remove with mild, non-moisturising soap and cool to lukewarm water. Hot water opens the pores and allows pigment to sink deeper into the skin - avoid this. Work the soap in gently and rinse well. Repeat until all the paint is gone.

Large temperature changes during storage or transport can cause the wax to expand and contract, leading to surface cracks. They usually disappear with use. There is no effect on quality or shelf life.

Can you paint Diamond FX over other colours?
