ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to make up half a face in no time. With this Santa Hat Profile Stencil you place a Christmas hat design on the side of the face. Position the stencil, press it flat, airbrush, lift it off, done. Perfect for Christmas events, winter markets, and workshops where you need a recognisable design quickly.
Note: these stencils are designed for use with an airbrush. Using a makeup sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes it more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Santa Hat?
A reusable makeup stencil made from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a Santa Hat design cut into mylar, as a half-face stencil for the side of the face, suited to Christmas and winter events.
The colours shown in the product images are examples. The colour that lands on the skin is entirely your choice, depending on the face paint you use.

- Reusable. Mylar is durable and flexible. Clean it well and store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the contours of the face. The mylar is thin and pliable, so it sits neatly against cheek, forehead, and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Position the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye cut-out around the eye.
- Airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp makeup sponge if you don't have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve with a sponge at this size.
- Lift the stencil straight up. Don't slide it across the skin, or the lines will smear.
Tip with face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, making your lines blurry.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-based face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a mild soap. Pat gently dry and leave it lying flat until completely dry. Don't roll it or fold it, or the mylar will develop permanent creases.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. These dissolve the alcohol-based paint without causing the mylar to swell.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
