ProAiir Profile Stencil Fire Truck
The ProAiir Profile Stencils are designed to paint half a face in no time at all. With this Fire Truck Profile Stencil you place a fire engine character design on one side of the face. Position the stencil, press it down, airbrush, lift it off, done. Great for kids parties, fire brigade theme events and sports occasions.
Note: these stencils are built for use with an airbrush. Working with a face painting sponge or finger sponge is possible too, but the size of the stencil makes this more of a challenge.
What is the Profile Stencil Fire Truck?
A reusable face paint stencil cut from flexible, semi-transparent 7 mil mylar (approximately 0.18 mm thick). One character design per stencil: in this case a Fire Truck design that sits on the side of the face, suited to sports and vehicle themes.
The colours shown in the product photos are examples only; the colour that lands on the skin is determined by the face paint you choose.
Why pick this stencil?
- Built for airbrush. Use with your ProAiir Hybrid, ProAiir Ink or Endura for the sharpest results. A damp sponge and water-activated face paint works too, but finer detail becomes harder due to the stencil size.
- Quick character effect. A complete fire truck look in 2 to 3 minutes. Perfect for face painters working through a long queue at a kids party or event.
- Reusable. Mylar is tough and flexible. Clean it properly, store it flat, and it will last for years.
- Follows the face. The thin, pliable mylar sits flush against cheek, forehead and nose bridge without the edges lifting.
How to use the stencil
- Place the stencil flat against one side of the face, with the eye opening aligned around the eye.
- Airbrush for the best, most detailed result. Or dab with a damp face painting sponge if you do not have an airbrush. Bear in mind that fine details are harder to achieve due to the stencil size.
- Lift the stencil straight off. Do not slide it across the skin or the edges will smear.
Tip for water-activated face paint: keep your sponge damp, not wet. Too much moisture and the paint seeps under the edges, giving you blurry lines.
Cleaning and storage
Used water-activated face paint? Rinse the stencil under lukewarm water with a little mild soap. Pat gently dry and leave it lying flat until fully dry. Do not roll or fold it, or the mylar will crease permanently.
Used ProAiir Hybrid or Ink? Clean the stencil with 99.9% alcohol or ProAiir ProClean. Both dissolve the alcohol-based paint without swelling the mylar.
For storage: keep the stencil flat in a stencil rack or between two sheets of paper inside a flat folder.
